A reminder to people who travel, find a place to park the car that is not on the street when you go away, or make friends whom you trust to leave spare keys with so they can move your car.
I had the miserable experience of having to leave for a death in the family only to come back to a towed car, a fine, a towing expense and massive damage to the car as well.

My car is on the fritz and we may not be able to get it running in time to move it and we don't have money for a tow. Will it be impounded or ticketed?
