The Mount Hope Masqueraders Present Their 6th Annual Haunted House!

October has finally arrived, and to most that only means one thing: Halloween will be here before you can see "trick or treat"!  Dressing up, collecting candy, scary movies...what's not to love?  Although kids love Halloween, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of local activities that they can enjoy before the big night.  How can a parent possibly plan autumn fun for their kids?

Parents of Bristol and Warren, look no further than Mount Hope High School.  On October 29 and 30, the Mount Hope Masqueraders, who last year brought you The Man Who Came To Dinner and Beauty and the Beast,  present you their sixth annual Haunted House!  This year, the Masqueraders have a special treat...the performing arts department of the high school will be transformed into an actual haunted house!  Visit our family as you travel through our garage, kitchen, attic, backyard, and more!
Visitors can choose just how spooked they want to be.  The "not scary" tour let's you see our creepy occupants at their friendliest, but with the "scary" tour...well, let's just say we can't make you any promises.  Before the tour, you can enjoy assorted food and beverages, as well as games like Monster Golf and Graveyard Walk.  Outsmart these tricky games and receive a treat!  Oh, and don't forget to take the
opportunity to transform yourself into your favorite character by getting your face painted!   An added bonus?  A fortune teller will be present and ready to tell you what your future holds!

The Haunted House will run from
5:30-8:30 PM on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30.  Admission fee is $5, and includes the tour as well as two game tickets.  Additional tickets will be on sale, two for $1.  All proceeds go towards the Mount Hope Masqueraders and our production of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, which will be presented on Thursday, November 15 through Friday, November 17 at 7 PM and Sunday, November 18 at 2 PM in the Mount Hope Auditorium.  Do you and your kids a favor: get out of the house before winter hits and enjoy Halloween with us!  We promise to provide you with both tricks and treats!
