5 Things: Giving Tuesday; Deck the House
Here are 5 things to know in Bristol and Warren today.
1. It was Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and now Giving Tuesday. Find out which local non-profits are participating in the campaign to interrupt consumerism with a little charity.
2. As the holiday season quickly approaches, lights are popping up on houses all over the place. Upload photos of your decorated home in Patch's Deck the House contest, and Bristol-Warren schools could win $100,000.
3. Meet with other local professionals and business people at the Rotary Club meeting at Wharf Tavern tonight at 6:30. Cost is $16
4. Today in history: Nov. 27, 1924: In New York City, the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is held.
5. Rain is expected for most of the day, and there's a chance we could see some white stuff, especially in the morning. Afternoon highs should top out at 40.
