Bristol Police Log: Domestic, DUI

The following is based on reports from the Bristol Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 


Bristol Police made the following arrests in the past week:

Crystal M. Rebelo, 26, of Thompson Avenue, Bristol, was charged with domestic simple assault and battery after officers responded to a 911 call on May 22.

William Taylor, 32, of Hope Street, Bristol, was charged with felony domestic assault on May 28. The victim called police to report her boyfriend pulled a firearm on her and ordered her to leave the property. Taylor's wife posted bail and he was released, according to reports.

Stephen E. Woodham, 60, of 53 Annawamscutt Drive, Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, presnece of alcoholic beverages while operating a motor vehicle and refusal to submit to a chemcial test on May 25. Police reportedly pulled Woonham over on Hope Street.

Pulled a gun on her and she posted his bail?! If you only knew how much better you deserved! Sad.

The way I read it it's worse. He pulled a gun on his girlfriend and his wife posted the bail.

Thank you for pointing out the error! It has been fixed.
And yes, you are correct... according to reports, a woman called to report her boyfriend pulled a gun on her. The suspect's wife later posted his bail.
