Police Log: DUI, Domestics and a High-speed Chase
The following is based on reports from the Bristol Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Bristol Police have made the following arrests:
Brandon A. Ross, 26, of 2 School St., Apt. C, Bristol, was charged with reckless driving, possession of marijuana, driving in possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, eluding an officer and resisting arrest after a high-speed chase down Thames Street on May 29.
Justin Murphy, 37, of 7 Robin Drive, Bristol, was arrested on May 30 for charges of issuing fraudulent checks in amounts higher than $1,000. Murphy turned himself in at the police station.
William Taylor, 32, of Hope St. Bristol, was charegd with felony domestic assault on May 28.
Robert Joseph Dasilva, 29, of 19 San Jose Drive, Bristol, was charged with violating a no contact order on May 30 after allegedly leaving voice mails with the complainent, whom he was not supposed to contact.
Lynn Marabello, 53, of 4 Ursula Drive, Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and refusal to submit to a chemical test after being pulled over on Bay View Avenue on May 31.
Melissa M. Malik, 30, of 23 Hezekiah Drive, Warren, was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test after police pulled her over on Thames Street on June 2.
Jaime F. Vierira, 48, of 22 Hamlet Drive, Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Arthur M. Teixeria, 51, of Belvedere Drive, Bristol, was charged with felony domestic assault and simple domestic assault and battery after police responded to a disturbance at the home on June 3.
Keith A. Barrieault, 36, of 1050 Hope St., Apt. 3, Bristol, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant on June 4.
