Bristol Police Log: The Case of the Missing Lawn Mower

The following is based on reports from the Bristol Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


The has made the following arrests:

Pena Cesar, of 118 Sylvan St., Apt. 3, Central Falls, was charged with driving without or with a suspended license after police received reports of a possibly stolen John Deere lawn mower.

The caller reported a white man wearing a dark shirt drove away from the Orchard Road home in a blue truck with the mower. Police saw Cesar's similar vehicle in the area and pulled him over. He did not have the mower. However, neither did he have a license, according to police reports, and officers placed him in custody.

As for the mower ... a neighbor borrowed it.

Damon M. Newton, of Constitution Street in Bristol, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic vandalism.

Bruce Silvia, of 17 Burton St., Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Matthew Robert Cinq-Mars, of 110 State St., Bristol, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.
