Bristol Police Logs: 10 Arrests for DUI, Marijuana, Assault and More

Tuesday, Feb. 21
- Adam Coelho, 40, of 50 Berry Lane, turned himself in on an arrest warrant for simple assault.
- Larceny from a residence was reported on Prospect Street.
- James McGowan, 31, of 221 State St., Apt. 2, was arrested for allegedly violating a no-contact order.
Wednesday, Feb. 22
- Police observed vandalism to the north building of Stone Harbour Condominiums.
- Joseph Silva, 42, of 94 Bay View Ave., was picked up on a Bristol Police Department warrant for larceny under $500.
- Roger Williams University security reportedly told police that an envelope was mailed to the school and it was suspected that there was marijuana inside.
- Fraudulent use of a social security number was reported on Paull Street.
Thursday, Feb. 23
- Casey Welch, 18, of 47 Tilbury Drive, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic vandalism, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after his father called police reporting that Welch was busting up furniture. Welch has been arrested by Bristol and Warren Police several times in the last few months for charges including domestic vandalism and violation of a no-contact order, larceny of money and driving someone else's vehicle without consent.
- Joie Brack, 19, of Quincy, MA, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Friday, Feb. 24
- Jonathan Hippenmeyer, 19, of Boxborough, MA, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
- Ted Gilbane, 23, of Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence and refusing to take a breathalyzer.
Saturday, Feb. 25
- Kyle McKernan, 23, of Sterling, MA, was arrested for driving under the influence and refusing to take a chemical test. The passenger, Alexander Lane, 19, of CA, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
- A dark colored sedan reportedly hit a pedestrian on Hope Street and drove off. The pedestrian was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for injuries.
Sunday, Feb. 26
- Susan Allan, 43, of 44 Congregational St., was arrested for domestic simple assault after her husband called police reporting that he was being abused and hung up the phone.
- A vehicle on Pearse Avenue was allegedly vandalized.
- A caller reported that the driver of a vehicle was seen texting, eating and almost ran over a small child in the area of Rogers Free Library.
