Bristol Wasps' Soccer Team Celebrates Great Season

The team made it all the way to the playoffs but lost 3-2 in the game.

Regardless of falling short by just one point during the playoffs held on March 17, the Bristol Wasps' Soccer Team are ecstatic over a great season.

"A lot has happened in a year," Coach Peter Squatrito said, comparing this season's good luck to the .

Early in March the Wasps' were excited to announce that the team had made it to the playoffs. Though the team fell short with a score of 3-2 to make it to the championships, Squatrito says he is happy with the season.

"We played an awesome game against the first place team but we fell short and lost 3-2," Squatrito said. "We played hard to the last second of the game and gave the first place team a scare."

This season has been very exciting for the team as the Wasps' .

"We came close but just couldn't pull a win out, but this season was a different story," Squatrito said. "The Wasps' actually won a bunch of games. The first session we went 3-5 and missed the play-offs but the second session we went 5-4 and ended up making the play-offs and was one win away to the championship."

The Bristol Wasps' Soccer team is comprised of young athletes between the ages of six and seven. The team looks forward to an even better season next year.
