Do You Remember Before Ace Hardware?
This week's location to get your wheels turning is Ace Hardware in Bristol.
Businesses come and go in every state and town. But how far back can you remember?
Ace Hardware, located in the Gooding Avenue plaza in Bristol, sells everything from lawnmowers to nuts, bolts, and house paint. This hardware store also makes duplicate keys, does propane refills and repairs for windows. But think further back and try to remember what other businesses inhabited this location that you or your parents may have frequented in past decades.
Post your memories in the comments section below.

I remember it as a discount store called Nyanza, or a friend of mine from Baltimore called it Nyaah Nyahh Nyahh. After that it was part of a large chain of discount/hardware stores which went bankrupt. Don't recall that name though.

Used to be Nyanza, a department store. We lived on Chestnut street and used to go there for odds and ends.
