Do You Remember Luke's Inn?

This week's location to get your wheels turning is Luke's Inn in Warren.

Businesses come and go in every state and town. But how far back can you remember?

If you are looking for good American Chinese food, look no further than Luke's Inn on Metacom Avenue in Warren. From flaming pu-pu platters to seemingly endless scorpion bowls, Luke's Inn has been a favorite must-stop restaurant for many Bristolians and Warrenites for many years. But think further back and try to remember what other businesses inhabited this location that you may have frequented in past decades.

Post your memories in the comments section below.

Well let's see my children are grown ups... I have lived in Bristol for 29 years now.. and I remember my first trip there. A friend took me for a chow mein sandwich!! That was a long long time ago... before I was married, and before I had children! I don't know what year they opened but it had to be close to it! I love Lukes Inn.. it's a great family restaurant, always friendly, always generous proportions, lunch or dinner! I never felt my children were to noisy or too busy, the family run restaurant was always open to families unlike some restaurants in the area.... KEEP UP the GREAT WORK LUKE'S INN

There was another Chinese Resturant there before Lucke's Inn. I don't remember the year but I worked there. It wasn't open that long.

I have so many happy memories at that address. When I was little, my two older cousins worked at Micheletti's. I was in there so much I used to Al Boss. Then when it became Michael's my sister worked there and we became friendly with the owners, the D'Orlando family. I remember helping Mr. D make the ravioli. When it was both of those restaurants the bar was actually where the dining room is now. I miss those days but love, love, love Luke's. In fact, ordering takeout from there tonight.
