Bringing the experience backing up some of the most famous musicians in history, the group is scheduled to perform in Independence Park tonight at 7.

The East Side Horns may be the biggest musicians you haven't heard of. Get to know their talent tonight at Independence Park as they continue the Bristol 4th of July Concert Series at 7.

John Allmark's East Side Horns featuring Mac Odom and Chill have played behind some of the most famous musicians in history. They have spent their careers backing up most of your CD collection ... including Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, The Four Tops, The O'Jays and Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole and the list goes on. The East Side Horns bring all those years of experience playing Soul, Motown, Pop and R&B to the bandstand to present what pop legend Boz Scaggs described as "...the best cover band I've ever heard."

"The combination of superior musicianship, presentation and versatility makes this band second to none," reports concert series organizers. "If you like great music with very professional presentations, do yourself a favor and check them out!"

Friday, the 88th Army Band helps the crowd get into the patriotic spirit ahead of the 4th. Check back with Patch tomorrow for a preview of the weekend's shows.
