Have You Seen This Dog?

Weezy is a red-nose pit bull who's been missing since Monday. Help bring this family member home.

One Bristol family is incomplete at the moment, and is asking for your help to make it whole again.

On Monday afternoon, Weezy, a beloved red-nose pitbull, disappeared from his yard on Jameson Drive, in the area of Metacom Avenue near the Bristol/Warren line.

Weezy, a 52-pound male, is brown with a white star on his chest. The family describes Weezy as a "very friendly dog" and reports he is up-to-date on his shots.

Weezy disappeared around 3 p.m. Monday and hasn't been seen since. Family members said they do not believe the dog ran away but that he was stolen from the yard. The family is offering a $500 reward for Weezy or information that leads to his return.

If you see any dog that resembles Weezy or have any information as to his whereabouts, email Sharon at sharonxobeth@yahoo.com or add any tips to the comments section below.

Weezy is a family pet and the owners describe him as friendly, and I believe them! That means they have taken responsibility for training their Pitbull just like any other owner of any breed does. Before Pitbulls were thought of as vicious it was the Doberman then the Rottweiler. All dogs are the product of thier owners training. Their are no bad dogs only bad owners!
I hope you find your handsome Weezy, he looks like a sweetie!!
