A Warren man is being held on $100,000 after allegedly stabbing another man near the bike path in Warren.

Warren Police arrested Jose Carrion, 35, of 24 Martin St., in Warren for assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct after allegedly stabbing a man near the bike path.

According to police, a man entered the fire station reporting that he had been stabbed on Friday morning. Police say the victim was stabbed in stomach on the bike path near Market Street.

Police said the man claimed that a half hour prior, he had gotten into an argument with Carrion on the bike path on Wood Street. He said Carrion accused him of staring at him. The victim said he had gone home and was returning toward the bike path when Carrion allegedly approached him on a bike and stabbed him.

According to police, Carrion was identified by victim and was arrested later on Friday afternoon. Carrion was charged with a felony assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. Carrion was arraigned and held on $100,000 with surety.
