It may not have been much by Rhode Island standards, but Bristol and Warren still felt the effects of the Thursday storm that brought a couple of inches of snow and high winds.
The precipitation is expected to persist today, with a potential for 4 to 8 inches to fall during the day and temperatures in the mid-30s. Winds are expected to stay strong today, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible.
One thing the snow didn't do was force a day off for local students — public schools in Bristol and Warren are already closed today.
