Patch Contest: You Pick the Dreaming of Summer Contest Winner
We want YOU to pick the winner of our Dreaming of Summer contest!
For the past two weeks, Patch users, summer fanatics, photo buffs and and sun worshipers have picked their favorite summer photograph to submit for a chance to win a sunset/leisure cruise from River Rebel Charters.
After a long and hard cumulative decision, we've taken the 41 photo submissions and narrowed them down to the top five. Now, it's your turn.
From now until noon on Monday, April 23, we want you to choose the best photo in the lot to take home the prize.
Will it be the Ice Cream Smile by Christine Gorman? Or "My Guys" Fishing by Beth Coccio? What about Squirt Gun Fun by Cindy Osmanski? Perhaps Jump In, The Water Is Fine by Jay Santos or Bristol Belle by Donna Wilson?

For clarification, River Rebel Charters does both fishing cruises and leisure cruises. The trip offered in this contest is a leisure cruise.

Really...over 1500 votes. Isn't it funny what some parents will go through to have their liitle ones win something. !500 people took time to vote for this, why don't the same 1500 people who voted help someone in need of food or clothes. Its ok to have fun with these types of photo contests, but when you see votes jump by the hundreds in only a matter of a few hours, you know mommy and daddy don't want to see their little rugrat lose at anything. Go do something nice for someone today, that will make you feel a heck of alot better.

I voted AND gave a homeless man some money to get some food... couldn't resist as he was holding a sign that read "SMILE :)" So it appears that you can vote AND do something nice for someone all in the same day! Go figure... And both of these actions made me feel just fine...

I didn't put mine on facebook on purpose...just wanted to see how it would do on it's own accord w/o having to rely on friends (jump in photo) but it's been pretty amazing watching the top two entries go back and forth. Congrats to all, nice photos each and every one !

Of course my little girl is my favorite but "Jump in" Truly makes me think of Summer and is a great photo! As you say, they are all great! "Squirt gun" looks like some sincere fun, "My guys" makes me want to go fishing...And Bristol Belle is such a cutie with that patriotic outfit-Perfect picture for Bristol! time to mow the lawn before the rains... ;) WOO!
