Thursday, Feb. 21:
Animals: Fresh off his appearance at Rogers Free Library yesterday, Dave Marchetti brings his Animal Experiences exhibition to George Hail Library this morning at 10:30 am. For ages 6 to 10. Registration required.
Music: Make the trip to Portsmouth today for the Toe Jam Puppet Band. Show is scheduled for 10:15 am at The Pennfield School, 110 Sandy Point Ave. Ages 2 to 8; free.
Nature: Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum continues its February vacation program for kids in grades 1 to 4. Day rate $40 members/$45 nonmembers; half-day $25. Space is limited.
Art: Bring the little ones to RISD Museum for "Tours for Tots: Color Blocks," scheduled for 2 to 2:45 pm. Click here to register. Adults $12, kids 5-18 $3, kids under 5 free.
Outdoors: Roger Williams Park Zoo is open during the winter — and admission is half-price. Adults $7.50, children ages 3 to 12 $4.95, under 3 free.
Flight: Providence Children's Museum is offering their "Paper Caper" program today from 10 am to 4 pm, where kids learn to make flying contraptions from paper and let them soar. $8.50 per person admission.
