Revival to Bring European Style Tea Room to Bristol
Contrary to local rumors, Revival is not going out of business.
After hearing rumors around town of the business closing, Revival store owner Victoria Fonseca sent out a mass email to clarify that Revival is not closing and is actually going to be expanding.
"According to several reliable customers, there is a rumor that we are closing. We are not. In fact, we are expanding," Fonseca wrote in the email.
According to the message, Revival has purchased a unit behind the store to create a tea room with a patio overlooking the harbor. But this will not be just any tea room.
"Our winter project is creating a timeline and blueprints for this expansion," the email went on. "We are very excited about this prospect and will be traveling to Europe in May to Dublin, London, Bristol (our sister city), and Paris. Our goal is to visit several tea rooms and meet with teaexperts to gain a good grasp of the business and establish what types and brands of tea we will carry."
Fonseca says the confusion regarding the store closing was likely presented by a "store closing sale" sign located near the entrance, which in fact belongs to another small business, Rob-Lin Jewelry.
