Support 'Bristol's Baldest' — and Help the Fight Against Cancer
Bristol Fire Battalion Chief Jim Vieira and Town Administrator Tony Teixeira are planning to take part in Thursday night's St. Baldrick's fundraiser at Fat Belly's in Providence.
Editor's Note: Bristol Fire Battalion Chief Jim Vieira recently posted this note on our Facebook page:
Hello all, I am a part of the Bristol Fire Department raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
This foundation is a charity who supports the research for Childhood Cancer. My team along with another from Bristol, Bristol's Baldest, have been challenged by Town Administrator to raise a combined $3,000, in return Tony will join us next Thursday night at Fat Belly's in Providence to shave his head with us in solidarity for children who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Well, we met Tony's challenge, but the kids need more. If you can, please donate at the link below, no donation is too big or too small... Thank You!

Jim is among others that are participating in this event. Others are the Bristol Police Department - who has raised the most money as of today and I am looking forward to seeing them all get their heads shaved. GREAT, GREAT cause - God bless them all for doing this.
