This Weekend: Super Bowl, Auto Show, Farmer's Market

Here are five things you should know heading into this Super Bowl weekend in Bristol and Warren.

  1. It looks like a pretty good weekend, weather-wise.  The National Weather Service calls for a mostly sunny forecast with temperature getting up to just above 40 degrees.
  2. Today at 11 am, George Hail Library in Warren premieres Friday Favorites: a New Kind of Book Group: There's no assigned book.  Just bring your favorite books, new or old, to share with fellow book-lovers.
  3. Admission is free at the Audubon Society of RI's Environmental Education Center  in Bristol, thanks to the Citizens Bank Foundation.
  4. The Mt. Hope Farmer's Market is up and running Saturday morning from 9 am to noon.  This weekend Sundial will perform, several vendors will be on hand, and the farm will collect food donations for the East Bay Food Pantry.
  5. The Northeast International Auto Show has rolled into the RI Convention Center through Sunday.  Sunday is Kids Day - free admission for those under 12, when accompanied by a paying parent.
