will soon reopen to the public as a new and improved traditional Irish Pub.

According to Mike Ferreira, owner of in Bristol and the new co-owner of Tinker's Nest in Warren, he and his partner John Moss have put a lot of work and thought into revamping the old pub and plan to reopen it within the next month.

Ferreira said he and Moss decided to purchase the place when he was approached with a good deal in a poor economy. He says the plan is not to completely change Tinker's, but to get the pub back into working order and to restore it to its former glory.

"Back in the 90s and early 2000s, Tinker's was a lot different than it has been," Ferreira said. "We want to keep the old Irish feel to it and get it back to how it was back then."
