Warren trailed Bristol with slightly higher tax rates — 17.04 percent for Warren compared with 12.43 for Bristol — and a cost of living index of 126.1 versus Bristol's 132.1.

Last year, the website ranked Bristol 11th and Warren 33rd in its "Best Communities 2012" survey.
