What Women Want On Valentine's Day

It's not always about diamonds and lavish gifts (though, we'll admit, we wouldn't turn them down)

Most people say Valentine's Day is a woman's holiday, and that may be so. So we used our Facebook page to ask users what women really want for Valentine's Day.

So don't disappoint this year and find out what women say they really want on Valentine's Day.

Tracy Cooper Ramos said any woman would love gift certificates.

Samantha Papineau Lancaster says, "I would have to say a woman wants something she knows came from the heart! :)"

Kathryn Blair said she would love red roses

Kristen Berlinguette Kourie said she would love to "not to dishes or laundry. Ugh."

@RightInRi tweeted us saying she wants a Kindle Fire for V-day

Cynthia Lachapelle Shannon says "a coupon booklet full of 'coupons' to get out of doing my normal chores and dinner prep!"

Hailee Souliere says "no dishes, no laundry, no cleaning, and being able to eat whatever we want with no workout and no guilt for one whole entire day. Oh and a back massage :)"

And my personal favorite comes from Mindy Hicks Evans who says:

"Diamonds. Very large, very expensive, with zero flaws! LOL. Actually, women want time... Not things! We want the love of our life to invest us with their time. Show us how much they appreciate us. Tell us that we are the most important thing in their lives. Take a walk with us. Cuddle with us. Share with us."

Some other suggestions? Try locally made Lollicakes, splurge on a lobster dinner at a local restaurant, spruce up the bedroom with rose petals from , or make it a date and see the Valentine's Day Show with Danny Kelly at the in East Providence.
