On Thursday, June 7, at 11 a.m., Mount Hope High School in Bristol will host a special event for students participating in the Mosaico Youth Experiencing Success (YES!) Program. This event will recognize this year’s participants and their hard work, dedication and accomplishments.
The YES! Program is a graduation assistance program for students to increase the school’s graduation rate, build basic skills development, help youth establish goals, and provide overall personalized support. Youth served will be between 14 and 18 years old and could be in danger of not graduating on time or dropping out. This year, 100 percent of the program participants were retained, and 100 percent of the senior participants are graduating and will attend a post-secondary education institution.
Mosaico Community Development Corporation serves the greater Bristol community with social service programs and economic development assistance. Mosaico promotes economic development, serves as a community information center, promotes workforce development and marine trades job training for adults, and provides unique educational programs for students of the Bristol Warren Regional School.
