Why Did the Town Manager Resign?

Since last October I have been trying to get our town officials to answer and respond to the safety issues regarding our sidewalks and road issues. Last October I sent a letter with some 18 pictures of issues to our town manger and was ignored.

I continued to push my concerns with attempts to speak at a council meeting in early January and February.  I was blocked from speaking with dirty lawyer tricks by our solicitor, and even was ejected from the March meeting, violating my right to freedom of speech. The council president arranged a mediation talk and the town manager did not show. With all my objections I spoke out publicly about his performance and what I thought he was not doing in his job correctly. I did not see many people voice their opinion other then against myself.

Well why did he resign from his position? It's like LaNino blew through Warren and he is gone. Is this how our officials work for the people/tax payers of Warren? Maybe nobody cares and elections are just part of a game. 2012 elections will be here soon and I hope we elect people to serve the people!

Dave, Quite interesting how you posted this a week ago and not even one comment? Well, I'll say it....It appears you were right all along! For Warren's sake, let's hope the town council keeps a closer eye on the performance of the next manager. And you are absolutely correct in demanding that the town manager's performance review be made public. The residents are entitled to be able to monitor the returns of their investment.
