The Family and Friends of Laurie Cordeiro are hosting the First Annual Rock In Pink fund-raiser this Saturday November 17th.Laurie is a Bristol resident who has been fighting Triple Negative Breast Cancer since 2009. She is the East Bay Liaison for Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation and was the inspiration for building a community "Garden of Hope" outside the Bristol Community Center on Asylum Road. The event starts at 6 PM and includes food, raffles and entertainment by Fare Game and Crushed Velvet. Admission is a $20 with all the proceeds benefiting Gloria Gemma Hope bus & Flames of Hope in October 2013. Tickets are available at Gils Appliance, Goglias Market or at the door.
