Bristol Theatre Company Auditions
Auditions for the Bristol Theatre Company performance of "Children of Eden" are this Sunday, 4-8 pm and Monday, 6:30 to 8 pm, at the Children's Workshop in Warren. Adults, and children ages 8-16 are invited to audition.
"Children of Eden", a musical freely based on the Book of Genesis by Stephen Schwartz and John Caird.
The production will be Aug. 2-5.
Adults should be prepared to sing 16 bars of music in a Broadway style. (Bring clearly marked sheet music in an appropriate key). An accompanist will be provided. Children should also prepare a show tune, but they may sing a cappella. Everyone should be prepared to learn a simple dance routine. Wear/bring appropriate shoes - no flip-flops, please. Auditions may also include cold readings from the script.
In addition please come prepared to note any conflicts you may have with rehearsals (vacations, evening work schedules, etc.).

More About The Children's Workshop
The Children's Workshop is an early learning center. They have implemented a creative curriculum for the preschool and pre kindergarten classrooms and follow early learning standards.
Children ages 6 weeks to 13 years attend. They have an after school program for both Warren and Bristol children. They have pickup services available for all elementary schools.
They have a family atmosphere, the caregivers love the children and they follow curricular educational aspects for the students to learn and grow throughout the years.
It is a very friendly and fun atmosphere for the children. Their safety and happiness is the Workshop's number one priority. All the doors have security locks.
They are open all year round. In the summer they have a camp and they offer swimming lessons once a week in their pool where the children can go swimming two times a day.
The facility is licenced by the Department of Education & DCYF.
