Herreshoff After School Program

Learn to varnish, paint, and work with wooden boats.  Teenagers learn the art of maintaining classic sailboats designed and built in Bristol.  Technology, math, science, and engineering is used, but the emphasis is on good, clean, fun.   Graduates sail the boats, and may enter our instructor training program.

 

WHERE: Herreshoff Marine Museum Boat Shop (#28 Burnside Street)

WHEN: 3-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday January 2 - March 14

COST: Free (donations welcome)
