The Parenting Support Group is an on-going opportunity for parents to discuss the challenges of raising children today such as building confidence, resolving conflicts, sibling rivalry, childhood fears and other concerns that parents bring. The group is facilitated by a trained professional and is conducted in a safe and confidential forum. All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non-traditional, and parents in blended families. There is no charge for the group but participants are invited to bring a donation of a non-perishable food for the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen or a paper good for the East Bay Food Pantry. Childcare is available by reservation two days in advance of the meeting. More About St. Michael's Episcopal Church
St. Michael's Episcopal Church is one of the four original colonial parishes in Rhode Island. It hosts regular worship services, religious education and ministries. A nursery is provided for children age 3 and younger every Sunday starting at 9:45am in the Tildesley building.
The church has a large music program, which includes 3 choirs, an organist, a handbell section and special instrumentalists which play during services and special programs throughout the year. The church is involved in various outreach programs such as the Faith Walk for Charity, the Health Ministry and the BGN Soup Kitchen.
