ART Night Returns Thursday

The latest trolley-gallery-eatery tour is scheduled for Sept. 26.

Four artists from Bristol and Warren headline Thursday's ART Night, scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. and featuring free trolley rides to 20 destinations in the two towns.

The plaza at Hope Street and Gooding Avenue is the mid-point in the trolley route, allowing easy entry but a difficult choice: which town's art to favor with the first visit.

In either direction, the informed visitor finds displays in settings familiar — Candis Dixon at her 30 Cutler St. gallery — and novel, like Savon Shoes for Neal Personeus's sculptures.

And that's the Warren side. Southward, Angelina's coffee shop serves live music and lively coffee, while Alta Luna Gallery is the place for the show finale.

The ART Night handbill explains more, including locations of information tables along both routes for the adventurous walkers.
