Bristol Town Council Meets; Adult Readers Group Reads 'Misfit'

Here are some things to know about in Bristol and Warren.

Here are a few things you may want to know about today, Oct. 30, in and around Bristol and Warren:

  • Cloudy with with a chance of a morning rain shower and temperatures reaching into the 50s.
  • The Bristol Town Council holds a public meeting at 7 pm in the Town Hall off of Hope Street.
  • The adult reading group at the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol, resumes at 3 and 7 pm in the Herreshoff Community Room. The next selection is ”Misfit” by Adam Braver, who will join the evening group.
  • The East Bay Knitters group meets at 12:30 pm in the quiet study room of the Rogers Free Library.
  • The Mt. Hope High School girls’ volleyball team ends its season at 6:30 pm at home against North Smithfield High School.
