Bristol, Warren Libraries Reopen; Mt. Hope Boys Open Tourney

Here are a few things to know about today in and around Bristol and Warren:

• There is a possibility of a few snow showers with temperatures reaching up to around 41 degrees.
• The Mt. Hope High School boys’ basketball team plays its first game against Tiverton High in the annual East Bay Holiday Tournament at Rogers High School in Newport. The game is scheduled for 3 pm.
• Disney on Ice starts its long weekend run of shows at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. Shows are at 1 and 5 pm. Here is the schedule for the rest of the ice shows’ appearance in Rhode Island: Friday, 11 am, 3 pm & 7 pm; Saturday, 11 am, 3 pm & 7 pm; Sunday, 12 pm & 4 pm, Monday, December 30, 12 pm & 4 pm.
• The Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol reopens after Christmas at 1 pm. 
• The George Hail Library, 530 Main St., Warren, reopens at 10 am.
