A weekly “brown bag lunch” series for East Bay business women resumes at noon and runs for the next three months at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, 16 Cutler St., Warren. It is hosted by W.E.B.O.N.D. (Women's Empowerment and Business Owners Networking Development). The guest speaker today is Michelle Hughes, who will talk about "Healthcare Reform and Tax Update.”
The Stuff a Bus winter coat drive operated by Liberty Tax Service, the Providence Bruins and RIPTA comes to Bristol at 576 Metacom Ave. at 6 pm. The coat drive benefits the Providence Corps of the Salvation Army.
The girls’ swimming team at Mt. Hope High School hosts Pilgrim High at Roger Williams University at 6:30 pm.
The girls’ basketball team at Mt. Hope High School travels to Newport to play Rogers High at 7 pm.
The boys’ basketball team at Mt. Hope High School hosts Moses Brown at 6:30 pm.
