Here are a few things you may want to know about today in and around Bristol and Warren:

  • Partly cloudy all day with temperatures rising into the mid-60s.
  • The East Bay Chamber of Commerce hosts a ribbon cutting for RISSCO Fabrication, 1 New Industrial Road, Warren, starting at 4 p.m.
  • This week's Wednesday Night Movie at Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St. in Bristol, is the 2013 adaptation of "The Great Gatsby" at 7 p.m. The film is free and will be shown in the Herreshoff Community Room.
  • Over at George Hail Library on Main Street in Warren, talented storyteller Carolyn Martino and musician Mary King present Irish Humor & the Harp, beginning at 7 p.m. 
  • The Bristol Town Council holds a regular meeting at 7 pm in the Council Chamber in Town Hall on Court Street.
  • The Warren Municipal Court convenes at 6 pm in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
