Halloween Means Trick-or-Treaters, Contra Dancing, Some Rain Drops

Here are some things to know about on Halloween in Bristol and Warren..

Here are some things to know about today, Oct. 31, in Bristol and Warren: 

  • Partly cloudy skies in the morning will become overcast in the afternoon with a possible rain shower in the evening as temperatures rise into the mid-60s.
  • Drive extra careful this evening with Halloween trick-or-treaters heading out into all of Bristol’s and Warren’s neighborhoods.
  • Take a free computer class at the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol, at 10 am; it’s the last class this session.
  • The Fermata Arts Foundation of Avon, Conn., is displaying at the Rogers Free Library , 525 Hope St., some student art work from its collection called “Ideal House.”  The works were created by school and university students in Tbilisi and Tskeneti, cities in Republic of Georgia. The display hangs in the Herreshoff Community Room.
  • The East Bay Contra Dance continues at the Warren Community Center, 790 Main St., at 7:30 pm.
