Follow Luminaries to 'Holiday Preview'; Take in 'Girls of Garden Club'

Here are some things to know about in Bristol and Warren.

Here are some things to know about today, Nov. 22, in and around Bristol and Warren:

  • Overcast with a chance of showers and a high temperature of around 51 degrees. 
  • The 12th annual Bristol Holiday Preview opens its first-ever two-night run from 5 to 9 pm. More than two dozen merchants will light the way to their stores with luminaries, where you can shop while enjoying holiday refreshments while piling up Snowflake Raffle tickets.
  • Farmstead Mercantile, 384 Market St., Warren, holds its first “Cheers! With Santa” at 6 pm, featuring Michael Reilly, a traditional “Golden Age” Santa who is sure to transport you back to your childhood. Mingle with Santa among the store’s holiday wonderland.
  • Do some holiday shopping at The Children's Workshop, 410 Child St., during a “Moms Night In” from 7 to 9 pm.  There will be activities and supervision for the kids. Bring a canned good for the food drive and receive 5 raffle tickets for the door prize.  
  • The Mt. Hope High School Masqueraders present their third of four performances of 'The Girls of the Garden Club' at 7 pm in the performing arts center. Shows also on Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.
  • The Roger Williams University theater department presents “Jane Eyre” at 7:30 pm in the performing arts center off of Metacom Avenue in Bristol.
