Monday Essentials: Cut for a Cause, Preschool Preview Day and Cicilline

Five things to know today, Aug. 5 that will help you plan your week ahead.

1. Cut for a cause and save animals today in Bristol and Warren. Pay just $20 for a haircut and 100 percent of those funds will be reinvested into the common areas. Don't forget to call and make your appointments at 401-254-9333! Patrick Lomantini and his team will be in town on Monday! Where else can you get a $20 haircut where all $20 goes to homeless animals in need in Rhode Island.

2. It's Preview Day at the Children's Workshop! In anticipation of the arrival of a new school year, The Children's Workshop centers are holding Preview Day where families gather at any of the 19 locations throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts and have some back to school fun! The Warren center offers Infant through School Age Programs, and we have a wonderful Kindergarten Program as well!

No registration is required! Contact the Children's Workshop directly for more information at 401-247-2503 or check out the Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/childrensworkshop or websitehttp://childrensworkshop.com/. Our Warren Center is located at 410 Child Street, Warren, Rhode Island.
