Mt. Hope Boys Basketball and Hockey, Girls Hockey Teams Play

Here are some things to know about today, Dec. 20, in and around Bristol and Warren:

• Mostly cloudy with a high temperature of around 48 degrees; showers may sneak in by the end of the day.
• The boys’ basketball team at Mt. Hope High School travels across the Mt. Hope Bridge to play Middletown High at 7 pm.
• The Barrington/Mt.Hope/Portsmouth girls’ hockey co-op team tangles with the co-op team from Smithfield/North Smithfield/Coventry at 6 pm at Portsmouth Abbey rink.
• The boys’ hockey team at Mt. Hope High travels to the Dennis Lynch Arena in Pawtucket to face off with Lincoln High School at 8 pm.
• Coffee Depot on Main Street in Warren presents 'open mic' night every Friday at 7; show off your talent for your friends and neighbors.
