SBA Session; Chess Class for Kids; Deadline for Warren Boards

Here are some things you may want to know about today in Bristol and Warren.

Here are some things you may want to know about today, Dec. 3, in and around Bristol and Warren: 

  • Mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 46 degrees.
  • The U.S. Small Business Administration holds an information session at the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Herreshoff Community Room. The session is described as a way to help make your small business a big success. 
  • The Rogers Free Library also hosts today a chess class for young beginners at 3:30 pm in the Herreshoff Community Room. Children from age 6 and older can learn the basics from “expert volunteers.” Call 253-6948 with questions.
  • The children’s room at George Hail Library, 530 Main St., Warren, will offer another Kiddy Tales – a story time for kids ages 3 to 5, on Tuesday at 10:30am. Each story hour includes stories, songs, crafts, and films.
