Slave Trade Continues Right Here at Home

Here are 5 things to know in Bristol and Warren today.

1. There are more slaves in the world today than there have ever been in the past, and it may be happening in our community. In "Modern Slavery: An Expert Panel on Human Trafficking in New England," a panel of local experts from the Providence Police Department, the Attorney General's Office, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will discuss human trafficking in New England. The event takes place in the Roger Williams University College of Arts & Sciences Building, Room 157, today at 5 p.m.
