Here are some things you should know about today in Bristol and Warren:

The East Bay Chamber of Commerce, 16 Cutler St., hosts a Holiday Shopping and Professional Services Fair  starting at 4 pm. Local vendors will offer tables filled with products and services to give you a head start on holiday shopping. Or just come to mingle.

Jazz legend Freddy Cole and his quartet perform a free concert at Roger Williams University in Global Heritage Hall at 7:30 pm. Cole is the recipient of the 2005 Grammy Living Legend Award. His band includes saxophonist Harry Allen, a virtuoso jazz musician in his own right who grew up in Burrillville 

Literacy Volunteers of the East Bay gather at 6:30 pm in the Quiet Study Room of the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St.
