Toll Still On: Even an electrical fire [arson suspected] and resident protest couldn't stop it — the planned 10-cent toll for the Sakonnet Bridge takes effect today, Aug. 19.

Lunar Walk: Mount Hope Farm host a full moon walk on Tuesday, Aug. 20, starting at 6 p.m. at Mount Hope Farm, 250 Metacom Ave. Meet at the Barn across from the Governor Bradford House, then walk down a scenic route to the Farm's Cove Cabin, overlooking scenic Mount Hope Bay. Guests will be invited to sip fresh lemonade and enjoy homemade baked goods before moving on to watch the rising of the full moon. On the way back, listen for the howl of the coyote, the call of the night heron or the hoot of an owl. Guided groups will leave the barn at 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. for the Cove Cabin.

New Use for Old Stuff: Rogers Free Library hosts a free craft workshop teaching kids how to recycle all sorts of things every day this week from 10 to 11 a.m. For kids entering grades 2, 3, and 4. Call (401) 253-6948 to sign up.

What's on the Agenda? The Warren Zoning Board meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Warren Town Hall, 514 Main St., Warren.

Give Peace a Chance — Or At Least A Meeting: East Bay Citizens for Peace meets Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Herreshoff Community Room near Bristol Town Hall, 10 Court St.
