Warren Town Council, Literacy and More

Five things to help get you through the day today on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2012.

1. The Warren Town Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Warren Town Hall. The agenda will focus on the changing of the demolition ordinance and other things. 
2. Help Someone Learn to Read:  The East Bay Literacy Volunteers will meet today in the Quiet Study Room of the Rogers Free Library.
3. Bang it out! The Rhythm Quest Percussion Group meets tonight 6 p.m. at the Bristol Community Center. This program is for youth age 11-18 interested in learning how to play band style drumming. Call for more information.  
4. The Shawl Program meets from 1 - 3:30 p.m. at 1020 Hope St. in Bristol.
5. Grab your umbrellas people:  There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, mostly after 11 a.m. Before the rain, there will be patchy fog , according to the National Weather Service Station in Taunton,MA. Otherwise Tuesday will be cloudy, with a high near 76 degrees. New rainfall amounts could fall between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
