Water Authority Board to Hear Results of Study on New Pipeline

  • The Bristol County Water Authority board of directors will hear a briefing on a study for building a pipeline to connect to the Pawtucket water supply as a backup source at a 6 pm meeting at 450 Child St., the BCWA offices in Warren. CDM-Smith engineering is making the presentation for the town councils in Barrington, Warren and Bristol; it will detail the best route and estimated costs.
  • The East Bay Knitters group meets at 12:30 pm in the quiet study room of the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., in Bristol.
