Family Service of Rhode Island has a waiting list of children needing loving homes. These boys and girls may have been removed from their families due to physical abuse or other issues.
To help find these youngsters homes, Family Service of Rhode Island is holding an information open house for anyone interested in becoming a foster parent on Wednesday, July 23, 5 to 7 p.m. in the agency’s offices at 134 Thurbers Avenue, Providence, moments off Route 95.
Weekly payment to foster parents help to support the placement of the child, and Family Service of Rhode Island provides on-call support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
