Newport Youth Hockey
Registration Is now open for the Learn to Skate, Mite Development, and House League programs.
The Learn to Skate program (LTS) is for boys and girls age 4 and up who would like to learn the fundamentals of ice skating. The LTS program is designed to develop strong basic skating skills (balance, stride, edges and stopping).
The NCYHA House League Hockey Program is intended for the beginner and intermediate player to enjoy the sport of hockey in a controlled, competitive, fun, non-checking environment, while improving the players’ individual and team skills through practice and games. Ages 9- 18 playing at the Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Midget levels

The Mite Development Program (MDP) ages 5-8 focuses on developing hockey skills through small station drills and cross ice games. With a successful inaugural season in 2012, MDP has been praised by USA Hockey as a model program
