RHODE ISLAND HIRING OUR HEROES JOB FAIR DEEMED A SUCCESS

WARWICK, RI – The Hiring Our Heroes Workshop and Job Fair, recently held at the National Guard Armory in Warwick, RI, was a successful event, with 48 potential employers and 108 pre-registered job seekers taking part.  There were 359 resumes accepted at the event, as well as 81 interviews conducted during the day, resulting in 13 provisional job offers and 3 firm offers of employment.  Job seekers included members of the National Guard, Army, Army Reserve, Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserve, Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Navy and Coast Guard, as well as Military spouses. “It was a true honor working with everyone, and we hope to do this again soon,” states Brian La Fauci, Program Director at RI-ESGR (Rhode Island Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve).
