5 Things: A Day to Read, Shooting Hoops and a Missing Girl

Today is Thursday, July 25, 2013 and here are five things you should know about.


1. It's another day of Reading with the RFL Summer Reading Program today in Bristol. Dig into reading in the Children's Room today from 9 a.m. to noon.
2. Shoot some hoops! Bristol's Over 40 Men's League plays tonight at the Bristol Community Center, located on Rockwell Dock on Thames Street. The game starts at 7 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m. 
3. Heroes and Villains at Hope Gallery: This exhibit will depict the genres of fictional and non-fictional people and events
Comic Book & Action Adventure. Selling: drawings, paintings, sculpture, illustrations, photography, blown glass, etc.
Check out the Gallery located at 435 Hope Street in Bristol.
4. Warren Municipal Court meets today at 6 p.m. at the Warren Town Hall, located at 514 Main St. 
5. Portsmouth police are seeking the public's help in locating a 13-year-old Portsmouth girl who disappeared on Wednesday. A CodeRed alert about the missing girl was issued Wednesday just before 11:30 a.m. The girl was last seen in the area of Ferry Landing Circle in Portsmouth.
