Bridget Fitzgerald: Irish Language and Songs

Come to the library for a performance and conversation with Bridget Fitzgerald, National Endowment of the Arts Master Artist.   Bridget is a native Irish speaker and sean-nos (old style) singer born and reared in County Galway.  It is from this region that her singing style originates.  She has performed for two Presidents of Ireland, at the Library of Congress, on National Public Radio and at numerous festivals in the US and Canada.

Registration is not necessary, but if you are planning on coming a phone call would be appreciated.  Call the library at 245-7686 to reserve a seat.
