Warren Art Gallery Seeks Submissions for Annual Open Exhibit

The Imago Foundation for the Arts is looking for artists to exhibit at the February show in its gallery.

A Warren art gallery is seeking submissions for its annual open community exhibit to run in February. 

Imago Foundation for the Arts is inviting artists to submit work in all media for display in the Imago Gallery at 36 Market St. 

The exhibit will open with a public reception for the exhibiting artists on Feb. 7. It will run from Feb. 6 to March 1.

Work must be submitted on Saturday, Feb. 1, and Sunday, Feb. 2, between noon and 3 pm each day. Artists may submit up to three pieces measuring no more than 36 inches in any direction. 

All work must be original and ready to hang. Submitting artists must be at least 18 years old.

There is a submission fee of $10 per piece or $25 for three pieces. Sales will be subject to a 20 percent commission that will be used to support future community arts programs sponsored by Imago.

Work must be picked up at the gallery between 3 and 6 pm on March 1.

Galler hours are 4 to 8 pm on Thursday and noon to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.
