  • Pastels for Beginner or Intermediate with Jay Egge

  • This workshop teaches choices of paper, tools and materials that enable application techniques of drawing, layering, gradation, and blending. Using these materials and techniques will enable the composition of harmonic color, texture, line and shape employing repetition, contrast, gradients, variation, and saturation in your realistic or abstract efforts. The detail and/or ethereal effects that are possible with the pastel medium will enhance your work.

    Date(s): 2 Weeks: February 27th & March 6th

    Time: 6:30-9:30pm

    Tuition: $90

    Instructor: Jay Egge has displayed and won numerous awards with mixed media, oil and pastel. He has also provided workshops and demos at various galleries and organizations in RI.
